The S1's docking station automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for around twelve cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though this can vary based on how much you use the mop.

The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to avoid it becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheels and sensors frequently to avoid them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. However, overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, especially when compared to other models that require more care.
