WoW Upgrades - The Item level upgrade (www.question-ksa.com) Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in specific statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by +3. A random extra substat is also increased with each upgrade.

The upgraded gear typically has a greater value for trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as valuable for the latter because of the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. However, the item used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and can't be used again. Upgrades can be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities and is accessible anytime to upgrade your equipment. To keep your gear current it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each few weeks.

Upgrades will cost more depending on the item level, but they will always be cheaper than purchasing new gear. For example upgrading a Benthic chest piece to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points, purchasing a similar piece from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase weapon, armor, tool and accessory upgrades. They are purchased by players through NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for different currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be applied to any weapon or tool using a button, which will show an image of the item at its next upgrade level if the player has sufficient materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the slot of the item and current item upgrade level and the weapon's price is higher than bracers or gloves, for instance. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with certain upgrades offering discounts to lower the cost of the Flightstones or crests that are used. Once an item upgrader kit has been upgraded to a certain amount and is degraded, it can be sold and sold back to the upgrader for a lower amount of the two currencies.

Upgraders for items can be found in many places, including the main island and some outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade discount and a chance to get a brand new upgrade recipe. The discount on upgrades increases according to the number of items being upgraded, and can be boosted by having players complete some specific achievements or quests.

Contrary to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II there is no upgrader for items available at the start of Icewind Dale. The NPCs that can assist with upgrades are available only via a variety of ways. This is both a positive and a disadvantage.

In Season 3 the upgrade system was altered a bit, with some new features added. After an upgrade has been completed to a certain level of item for an armor slot upgrading other items to the same level, will cost less. This is true even if the items come from another set of equipment.

The amount of Valorstones required for upgrades is decreased, and the discount is available across all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade is cut too, but it is only available when certain milestones have been reached.

Crests

Players have a variety of options for upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to all players for upgrading. Crests are more specific and are used for specific item level upgrades. Crests are a key element of the Dragonflight gear progression system, which was introduced in 10.1, and come in 4 ranks.

First, you must be aware that the crests can only be purchased for gear of a certain rank. Each rank has a different upgrade path. The easiest and most straightforward upgrade is 15 crests. The most complex upgrade can require up to 20 crests, Item level upgrade depending on the type of gear being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by finishing content at the appropriate level, whether that means walking around and doing outdoor activities for gear of lower tiers, dungeons or raids of any difficulty for higher-tier items or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses or dungeons for gear that is used in the endgame. These crests are then exchanged with an upgrader for the item like Cuzolth or Vaskarn, in Valdrakken for the appropriate upgrade steps and routes.

Using these new currencies isn't too difficult however, the system will introduce a few modifications to the upgrade item process. When a piece of equipment reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it will no longer require Flightstones. This change is intended to allow players to upgrade their gear up to the highest ilvl possible on all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests with care, Item Level Upgrade since they have only one purpose. For instance, it's best to use all of your Whelpling-rank crests on the best gear you have available and keep Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you plan to make. This is particularly applicable to trinkets and rings that occupy multiple slots on the character which can only be eligible to avail the account-wide discount when all of the slots are full of high-quality equipment.
