WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in certain stats. Each upgrade increases item level by 3. Each upgrade item also boosts a random substat.

The upgraded gear typically has a greater value for trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or has a high stat variation (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as useful for those with lower requirements because of the requirement to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item used to upgrade will remain in use for a long time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create Enchantments.

The upgrader is located in every major city, and is accessible anytime to upgrade your equipment. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader every several weeks.
